Volunteer Opportunities:

1. Set-up/Clean Up:  Help set up chairs, tables and food line.  Help clean up chairs tables and dishes.
2. Table Leader:  Greet and invite people to sit at your table.  Facilitate Discussion Questions.
3. Prayer Recorder:  Writes down people’s prayer requests and follows up with requests at next meeting.
4. Ice Breaker: Plan and lead the group in a short fun activity or question

1. Whenever possible try to link icebreaker to topic of the day

5. Reader:  Read the passage of scripture for the week.

Prime the Pump:

1. If Christians are supposed to follow Christ, what are they supposed to follow Him in?

1. What behaviors, characteristics or attitudes are Christians supposed to emulate?

2. Why would anyone want to follow Christ?

Read Luke 22:14-30

1. How have your past experiences predisposed you to seek self-elevation and the praise of others?
2. How do you define humility?

1. How does a person boast in Christ while remaining humble?

3. How do you communicate humility and boast in Christ to your unsaved friends?

1. Do your unsaved friends think you are humble in the way you talk about your relationship with Jesus?
2. Do you talk about your relationship with Jesus or just “church stuff”(events, activities, stance on social topics)

Individual Challenge

Ask an unsaved friend if they think that Christians are humble and ask what in their experience has led them to their current view of Christians.
